Mobile Call Recording


Mobile Call Recording can be provided by Anvil either as a standard service at £4.95 per month, per SIM or as an FSA compliant, highly secure service at £24.95 per month, per SIM. Both services require an Anvil SIM to be used with the telephone number being either a new local land line number or you can use your existing business number, providing we can port the number to our service. We have bi-directional porting agreements with most of the major networks - for more information,please click here  www.anvilmobile.co.uk/port_existing_number_3.html The importance of having bi-directional porting agreements is that you can port numbers out of the Anvil network to another provider should the need arise at any point in the future.


Standard Service


Call recordings are delivered to your specified email address. For businesses we recommend that a dedicated email address is set up to receive all recordings. For example, use something like recordings@yourbusinessname.co.uk  could be set as the destination for call recording delivery. This prevents your personal/business email account from being filled up with recordings and makes it very straightforward to search using phone number, date etc. as the search criteria.


In our standard service we offer two options; On demand call recording is activated by pressing *5 at any point in a conversation. The entire conversation, from the beginning, is then recorded and delivered either as an email attachment or, if the file is larger than email limitations will allow, as a link for the recording to be downloaded. Always on is the other option and when this feature is selected, everything in and out of the mobile phone will be recorded and delivered to your specified email address.


Secure Call Recording For Compliance


Various sectors of business and the public sector demand that all calls to and from mobile phones are recorded. For example, The FSA states that all mobile calls to and from clients must be recorded and also that the recordings must be to a standard that a court would accept as admissible evidence. To achieve this we provide an enhanced level of security in terms of how and where the recordings are stored. Recordings are encrypted, independently time & date stamped and advanced tamper proofing mechanisms are employed to ensure the original and the retrieved recordings are identical. The recordings are captured within the core network with physical connections from our servers to the main carrier switch. This means that the recordings cannot be intercepted during the recording process and consequently the very expensive security measures required in network based recording methods are eliminated. As well as reducing the cost of the service while ensuring your recordings are made with maximum security, this approach means that any delay in speech during the call is imperceptible. No software is needed on the handset and users make and take calls exactly as they always have - no prefix dialling numbers or complicated processes, so no training is needed and for Anvil customers it is simply business as usual.
